Duke Diabetes Awareness is an NIH-funded initiative at Duke University to improve awareness around diabetes and prediabetes screening

The American Diabetes Association recommends that everyone above the age of 35 get screened for diabetes every 3 years. You can learn more about these recommendations at the ADA website.

You can discuss being tested with your care provider at your next primary care appointment at Duke.
